Different people would give different interpretations to the concept of Work-Life balance.
For me, it is more about living a balanced life. Our existence cannot just be simply put into just two boxes – the work box and the life box. This gives the impression that your work isn’t simply also a part of your life.
To truly have a balanced life, what you do for work has to be something that is meaningful to you, and that allows you to express your gifts and talents in a way that benefits the world.
While we don’t all start from the ideal place of doing work that is simply an extension of our life, and not something you ‘leave’ your life to go to, we should make this our goal.
Regardless of the phase, you are in your life, here are 12 quotes that will hopefully encourage and inspire you.
